Responsibilities:
Prepare IPC’s, CMM’s, AMM’s, WDM’s, SSM’s, RSPL’s and SB’s for aircraft interior product Investigate engineering data packages to determine impact on IPCs, CMM’s, WDM’s, SSM’s, AMM’s, RSPL’s and service bulletins
Consult with engineering, program management or vendors as needed
Write new and revise existing publications as required by EDB schedule
Establish compliance of publication manuals with respect to HT and ATA requirements
Provide illustrations using CAD software packages
Research and compile required electrical wire and equipment data for inclusion in maintenance manuals
Check publication packages for completeness and accuracy
Assist in training new department personal
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
3 years experience preferred in writing or publishing maintenance manuals
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Ability to work within a team environment
Computer literate including Word, Excel, Access and CAD programs
AutoCAD and 3D Via experience preferred
SGML and Epic editor experience preferred
Lifting requirement: 30 lb.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
