JOB DUTIES:
Project Engineer for Crew Systems Design Integrated Product Team (IPT), primarily responsible for the coordination, planning, and support of the Horizontal Integration Team in various programs (e.g. Block 3, Saudi, Taiwan etc).
These responsibilities includes: support proposal technical approach development, proposal estimating, build plan activities, requirements planning, issue resolution; cross product team coordination; and earned value management activities (weekly & monthly statusing and variance analysis reporting).
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions across all integrated product teams (IPTs).
Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
JOB SKILLS:
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering and over 10 years of experience in Systems Engineering Experience with Integrated Product Teams or Cross Project Teams collaboration
Apache Program Experience.
Strong communication (writing, listening & presenting) and creative problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
5+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
