JOB DUTIES: Designs, develops and maintains Oracle databases. Designs, implements and supports database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures. Implements database security infrastructure and manages user access accounts. Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations; plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches. Develops, plans and establishes database performance baselines; monitors performance trends to identify and correct problems. Works under general direction.
JOB SKILLS: Prefer 10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
7+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
