Project Management Specialist

Establish project control system requirements for BCA Production Engineering projects which integrates project data for decision makers. Analyze integrated project data for an understanding of project impact items and advise decision makers on course of action. Authorize workaround plans and schedules recovery plans, alternative options or scenarios, resource capacity plans, risk mitigation plans or re-baselining the project as required at the project level and ensure that they are reflected in the lower levels of the project plan. Respond to project risks and opportunities. Develop mechanisms for establishing, monitoring and integrating project elements, product configuration and communications concerning both change management processes and decisions by project managers, line managers and customers to meet enterprise objectives.

Oversee the work of others assigned to the project and individuals representing other functional support activities (e.g., planning, budgeting, strategy) where required. Report to all levels of management. Apply judgment to the most complex planning, design, technical and/or management functions. Develop a project plan and deliverables that meet identified requirements by application of, or in accordance with, accepted project management standards in the industry.

Oversee projects ensuring status and progress reports meet designated enterprise and industry standards. Consult with steering committee, management, project sponsor and/or others

JOB SKILLS: Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Fluent with all Microsoft suite of tools, especially MS Project and Milestones Professional. A strong background in aerospace production and information technology is desired.
