EE Systems Design Engineer

**Travel Required**

Responsibilities include:
Design, decompose, derive, and test crew interface requirements for Military Longbow Apache and international derivatives for foreign sales.

Project Engineering: coordination, planning, and support of the Horizontal Integration Team in various programs. These responsibilities include: support requirements/software build plan activities, requirements planning, issue resolution; and cross product team coordination.

Application of interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

Evaluation of customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.

Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.

Perform analyses for safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements

JOB SKILLS:
Bachelor or Masters Degree in an Engineering field (typically Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering).

8 years or more experience in one of the following: Avionics, Electrical, Electronics, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and cockpit crew interface design.

Experience with Integrated Product Team or Cross Project team collaboration Apache Attack Helicopter Program Experience.

Strong communication (writing, listening & presenting) and creative problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
