JOB DUTIES: Write news articles and feature (magazine) articles as part of a companywide employee communication initiative. Develop video scripts and slide shows for audiences of varying sizes, up to and including all company employees. Manage a blog site, including editing of postings and tracking of metrics. Write content for a program annual report, and help produce occasional executive by-lined articles for both internal and external use. Develop communication plans for special events and initiatives.
JOB SKILLS: Strong news writing and feature writing skills required, plus experience in writing scripts for both videos and slide shows. Also, the ability to develop communication plans that include details schedules for managing a wide variety of media. BA in journalism, communications, or related discipline required, as well as a minimum of 10 years experience in news, communication, or related fields.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
