Position

Overview

Develops, maintains and modifies structural and interior payload system and component designs, using CATIA V5 and Enovia product data manager, to provide product definition. Integrates analytical and test results to verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Must know model based definition and relational design.

JOB SKILLS: Must be proficient with CATIA V5 and Enovia product data manager and relational design, model based definition. Must know Geometric Tolerancing & Dimensioning per ANSI Y14.5M Must have aircraft design experience. 787 experience a plus. Desire Enovia Product Data Mgmt System experience a plus. Desire aircraft composite (CFRP) experience. CFRP = Carbon fiber reinforced plastic.

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
