JOB DUTIES: The Warner Robins, GA. Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) Team within Global Service and Support is looking for a highly motivated Logistics Information Systems Specialist 3 for its Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) application and/or web projects on the C-130 program. This candidate will contribute to the planning, design, prototyping, development, and implementation of either the IMIS software module or web applications that will plug and play with the complete aircraft maintenance solution. The software acquires and manages aircraft health and usage data, performs health and usage assessment, updates aircraft configuration and recommends maintenance actions. This individual will work alongside a team of highly motivated software developers.
JOB SKILLS: The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of software development experience with one or more of the following: ASP, Web Application Design/Development, or SQL database experience. It is also preferred that the candidate have some experience with object oriented programming such as .NET, C++, or JAVA languages. Degree or certificates in mathematics or computer science preferred, but not required. Microsoft Office familiarity required.
6+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
