JOB DUTIES: Mixes and applies primer and finish coats to aircraft, parts and assemblies per military specifications. Lay out paint schemes and designs. Performs specialized paint assignments.
JOB SKILLS: Possess blueprint knowledge for bond prep, paint and masking requirements. Touch-up finish paint (Flight Test). Perform chem.-film treatment for paint operation. Hazardous material handling, Flight Test operations and blueprint understanding is necessary. Working knowledge of suction feed and pressure feed paint operation. Ability to paint mil-spec thickness requirements is essential. Understand and comply with verbal and written instructions. High school education, and 1 to 2 years work-related or an equivalent combination.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
