JOB DUTIES: Provide Materials & Process composites support to the 787 program. Work in a team environment to: Assist with definition of requirements for materials and processes used in the manufacture of products to meet program requirements. Travel to suppliers to qualify new parts. Conduct basic analysis to determine reasons for failures of materials, parts or processes. Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions. Significant travel to supplier locations expected.
JOB SKILLS: Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
