JOB DUTIES: This is Technical Writer position. The selected candidate must be able to adapt and work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment to develop and sustain the AH-64 Apace Electronic Technical Manual. AH-64 maintenance and procedures are desired. Experience may include mechanical, electrical, avionics and ordnance. Candidates must be familiar with the use of aircraft technical manuals and related technical data.
JOB SKILLS: This position requires computer knowledge and usage. Candidates must have some level of Microsoft Office application experience. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals and the use of military specifications. IETM usage experience is preferred. Bachelors degree and typically 2 or more years related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelors in Aviation preferred.
10+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
