JOB DUTIES:
The candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and testing of various mechanical and electrical assemblies in an engineering development environment. The assemblies are used for avionics test equipment and include printed circuit boards, cables, chassis, test fixtures, etc. The assemblies utilize a variety of fabrication techniques including wire wrapping, soldering, crimping, etc. Redlining of engineering drawings is also required.
JOB SKILLS:
Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience. Candidate must possess strong blueprint/drawing interpretation skills. The candidate must possess a strong background in electronics fabrication skills including fabrication of circuit boards, cable assemblies, chassis, equipment rack buildup and installation, setup of test sets and execution of test procedures. Additional requirements are good communication skills to allow an effective interface with engineers assigned to the various projects.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
